Nursery

It's hard to believe this little girl of ours is in nursery already! She is getting so big!

Hair bows!

One day, Aunt Tami got Annemarie to let her put all of her hair bows in her hair at once. It was so funny. She left them in until nap time too!

Jack and the Beanstalk

I was able to chaperone a field trip with Abraham. We went to a play, Jack and the Beanstalk and had a wonderful time. 

Snow Day!

We had a rare two weeks full of snow here in North Carolina! My kids loved it and spent hours every day playing outside. 

 Snow angels! Real ones!

 And a real snowman that is bigger than a foot tall!

 I filled spray bottles with hot water and food coloring and the kids had a blast "painting" the snow.

Darth Maul

My kids love dressing up and I found this Darth Maul mask and made a double light saber to go with it. Rex loved it and was wearing it all day.

At bedtime I found him and Ken reading. The book of choice? A Children's Book about Being Careless. "You are being careless when you act as though you don't care about the people or things around you." It made me laugh. I hope Darth Maul learns his lesson about being careless. 

100th Day of School

To celebrate the 100th day of school the kids in Abraham's class were supposed to dress like they were 100. He makes an adorable old man!

Marbles

We were happy to accept when the Bullocks invited us to Marbles! It had been so long since we had been and we had a great time. 

Rex loved this race driver costume. 

Annemarie always gravitates to anything that makes sound.

Giving shots

So there was this new area and when you pressed a button it played a clip from the song, The Electric Slide. Annemarie was CRAZY about it. She'd press it and then either dance around or just sit and stare at the speaker. It was so funny and so cute.
