Annemarie is 2!

Our little girl turned 2. She had us laughing as she opened her presents. The only thing she really cared about what a second hand Scooby Doo book she got. Annie loves Minions, My Little Pony, Scooby Doo, and Frozen. She loves being read to and taking baths. She's an awesome eater, but isn't talking more than a few words yet. Her brothers love her and she keeps us on our toes. Happy Birthday little thing. 

Fishy

Annemarie loves fish. We were so excited to take her to the aquarium. Her excitement didn't disappoint us. We had to laugh at all the pictures we got with her saying "fishy". 

Aquarium and Beach Trip

We took advantage of another day off to drive to Wilmington to the aquarium and then the beach. Annemarie fell asleep after the aquarium, so she and I stayed in the van while the boys hit the beach. 

Marbles

Ken took a few days off to spend with the kids before school started. We spent our first morning at Marbles. We always have fun, but having Dad with us great too.

Lonnie and Sue's 50th Wedding Anniversary

Ken's parents (Lonnie and Sue) had their 50th wedding anniversary. Ken was able to go out and surprise them and spend a week with his family. It was right over the start of the new school year, so I stayed home with the kids. He had a great time.

This is the hotel in Vernal, UT they stayed at on their honeymoon, 50 years ago. They celebrated by staying there again.

 On the way home from Vernal they stopped at the home Ken's dad grew up in.

We were so glad that he was able to spend some time with his family and to celebrate such an amazing milestone. 

Rex's 4th Birthday

 Rex turned 4 in August. It was a wonderful day filled, of course, with superheroes!

 Ken painted him this picture to add to the others in the play room.

 He wanted play-doh and pizza for his birthday, so he got to invite a couple friends over and his brothers and cousin and we had a fun afternoon.

 I tried to talk him out of an Aquaman cake, but he knew for certainty that was what he wanted. So I made up some marshmallow fondant and did my best. He loved it, so that is all that matters.
