There were so many of these pictures that were just adorable! I would have posted them all, but you'll have to look through the slideshow to see the rest!
Trying to get him clean was an event in and of itself! Here is the cute duck Aunt Jessie sent.
Abe actually started doing this a couple weeks ago, but we haven't gotten a good film of it until now. He's doing really well and I'm sure it won't be long until he really takes off!
Sorry it is sideways, I couldn't figure out how to fix that!
My attempt to get the two of us in a picture together.
Who pushed who in a stroller for 3 hours???
On Friday, we had some friends of ours over for a special Halloween dinner. I look forward to Dinner in a Pumpkin all year long! I wish we'd gotten some better pictures of the spread, but our meal consisted of: Dinner in a Pumpkin, Brain Jello with Worms, and Meringue Bones. We made Halloween sugar cookies too. We had so much fun. After dinner the girls showed off their adorable costumes and then we had a karaoke party! We finally got most of our decorations up (the ones Abe won't destroy) and it made us so excited for Halloween!!
(When Mom came out when Abe was born, we talked her into wearing this wig, red snakeskin leather pants, and a disco ball necklace to our ward trunk or treat....groovy)
I know, I'm running late on Abe's birthday post again, but not as late this month as last! Our little baby has become quite the little boy lately. He is wearing mostly 18 month clothes now and at his last doctor visit he weighed just over 24.5 lbs. He is a big cruiser and loves to push things around. No steps on his own yet, though. He has really started interacting with us during play, which has been so much fun. He st
ill loves his cars and trucks and trains and you will usually see him with one of those in his hands (or one in each hand!) He is eating mostly table foods now and his newest favorite is grilled cheese sandwiches. He now signs "more", "milk" and "finished". He makes lots and lots of sounds and is continually babbling to himself. He has started climbing on furniture and has been mastering going up the stairs. We were excited to turn his car seat front facing and he loves being able to interact in the car and see more. He is such a happy, happy boy and so sweet. We're very excited for his birthday coming up later this month!!!
Ken gave me a great surprise today and took the day off! We went to IHOP for breakfast (I had their cinnamon roll french toast...divine!) and then ran some other errands and just spent time together. It was so nice to just have an extra day to spend together as a family. Unfortunately, I only got one picture to represent the day, fortunately it is really cute.
