One Month Birthday!!

Abraham turned one month old on November 27th! Here is his best birthday picture! It has been one of the most challenging, but also rewarding months of our lives. Abe is such a good baby and we are so happy to have him in our lives. He's beginning to smile at us and focus on our faces and it is so fun to see his little personality emerge...now if we could only do something about that gas!!!!

The Cutest Baby in the World

I Love my Cousins!

While Grandma Tucker (aka Grandma Red) was here visiting, we met up with Aunt Tami and cousin Madison and went to Lake Wheeler park. We had fun on the rocking chairs and Grandma couldn't get enough of her little Grandchildren. Madison loves "Baby A" and signs baby everytime she sees him! While I was feeding Abe, he was hidden under a blanket and Maddie went around signing, "baby, where" and looking for him. It was adorable!!!

We are glad that Abe came a little early so that he could spend some time with his Later cousins too before they moved to CT. We all gathered at the Boyers to say goodbye on the day that Grandma left. What a crew! After living by (or with) the Laters for the last five years, we are going to miss having them around!

Abraham's First Halloween

After weeks of sadly passing up all the cute baby Halloween clothes (because Abe wasn't due until Nov 4) I had to send Ken on an emergency run to Target so he would have something appropriate to wear for our favorite Holiday!!
We knew exactly what we wanted for Abraham's first Halloween costume! Abraham Lincoln is a personal hero of mine and one of the reason's little Abe has his name. He was a good sport with the hat and the beard and let's face it, doesn't he look adorable?!?!?!? (Don't worry, we only kept it on him for a few minutes!)

Someone called us out on our "cute" nursery, saying it wasn't a true Carlile nursery ... that is just because we hadn't introduced them to Uncle Jason yet! He is a great sitter for Abraham and I must admit, we don't worry that anyone will try and hurt our son while he is in Uncle Jason's care!
