Tyler's Four Months!

Little Ty-Ty is four months old!! We just can't imagine life without our angel baby. He is so happy and sweet and just smiles all the time. We tried really hard to get a good picture of his big open mouthed smile, but we couldn't quite capture the cuteness. He's had a little trouble lately sleeping, so we are wondering if he is teething. We've brought out the exersaucer and the Johnny Jumper and he just loves both of them. He and Abraham still get along so fantastically well. It just melts my heart when I see Abe come up and kiss Tyler or share with him. We love you Tyler! Oh and did I mention, he thinks he's Superman?

Vacation - Part 3 - Goodbye Utah

It always seems as though there is so much to do and so little time to do it while we are visiting Utah. We were able to gather together with Ken's family for some family pictures. It took a little photo shop action from Ken to get everyone looking at the camera, but the end result turned out well.

We were also fortunate to go and visit with Grandpa Bodily. We loved sitting and talking with him and Ken even got a tour of the woodshop! As Ken put it, "That is where the magic happens".

Here are the last random pictures from our trip. Abe loved playing in Grandma Carlile's backyard and helping her water the flowers. Our last night there we went to Aunt Carie's house for a barbeque and a little Wii fun. Abe loved his cousins Konnor and Cooper.

Don't you love the huge scoop of icecream?

This is Tyler's "Uh-Oh, my Mom just caught me making out with my sheep puppet again" look. I thought it was totally cute.

Vacation - Part 4 - White Sands

Yes, I know Part 3 has been skipped. We will return to that later, I promise. So, after we left Utah we flew to El Paso to stay with my parents. They have recently moved into a new home and we were their first visitors! Their new house is amazing and we loved it. My Dad, Gordon (my brother) and Jessica (his wife) and Ken all took a day off and we drove all over New Mexico. Our first stop was White Sands. It was gorgeous there and after getting over his initial discomfort of walking in sand, Abraham had a wonderful time sledding.

He wouldn't take off his shoes, but by the time we left, he was "digging" in the sand every few steps.

Ken and my Dad were the most adventurous sledders, by far.

Tyler didn't get to play in the sand, but he had fun hanging out.

Who was having more fun, Kim or Abe?

My crazy parents.

Abraham and his Grandpa ... peas in a pod.

I LOVED this silhouette shot of us. Such beautiful scenery.

Vacation - Part 2 - Hogle Zoo!

While in Utah, Grandma and Grandpa Carlile took us to the Hogle Zoo. Aunt Kristy came along with Casey and Clayton. We had a great time and loved seeing all the animals.

This is how we spent most of our day, walking and pushing strollers.

After seeing all the exhibits, we played on the playground.

Waiting in line for the carousel.

More playground time with Clayton and Grandma.

Ty made good use of the time he spent out of the stroller.

We caught this sweet fight between these two bears. It was amazing to watch how brutal they were to each other, but it didn't seem as though either one got hurt.

I love this look. We were watching a couple of monkeys who were making screeching sounds that could be interpreted by a 2 year old as fire truck sirens. Let's just say, Abe was quite confused by it all.

My little monkey.

This is not the animal we rode on the carousel. We rode the praying mantis whose tail end you can see in the right hand side of the picture, unfortunately it wasn't conducive to pictures, so we snapped this shot after the ride was over.

Vacation - Part One - Wyoming!

We left for our family vacation last Thursday. I'm dividing our trip into several posts to make the reading easier. The flight was better than I'd anticipated, thanks mostly to the portable DVD player that we bought for Abraham. We hit Utah around midnight on Friday morning and headed out that afternoon for Wyoming. We had a great time at the Meeks cabins.

Our first picture with all four of us! A good lookin' family if I say so myself!

Playing with cars, of course. Abraham and his cousin Clayton. They are only a couple of months apart in age.

I love this happy face. This was after playing with his cousins on the slides. He was laughing so hard and having the best time. There weren't any "baby" swings, so Abe learned to use the big boys swings. He was quite hesitant at first, but I'm afraid now he'll never want the baby swings again.

Grandma and Grandpa took Abe on a hike to the totem pole. They said he loved every second of it!
Cooper and Abraham.

The Grandmas and their babies. Even though Max is 5 months older than Tyler, they look almost the same size!!!

Tyler spent a good amount of time in the Snuggly. Fortunately for us, he loves it in there!

We had a great time ... stay tuned for more!
