Happy Birthday Abraham!

We were so excited to celebrate Abraham's "Happy Day". Since our neice, Madison, was able to schedule surgery for her cochlear implant on Abe's actual birthday, we did our little celebration the Sunday before.
After much deliberation, I made him a fire truck cake. He loved it.

We were so excited that Grandma Red could be with us to celebrate.

It took awhile until he caught on to the concept of opening presents. It was very cute to watch him!

The Boyers also joined in the celebration. Maddie takes opening presents very seriously.

Abe & Tyler both loved the "Cozy Coupe" car!

Enjoying our cake and icecream.

Of course, Tami and Jared tried to sneak Tyler his first taste of ice cream.

We love you Abraham! I hope you really had a "Happy Day"

Stay tuned for a post on what we did on his actual birthday!

Vacation - Last and Final Post - Carlsbad Caverns

I know, we've been home for almost a month, so it is about time I finished posting all our vacation pictures. We had a great time in the Carlsbad Cavern. It was gorgeous and amazing in there. Tyler enjoyed his ride in the snuggly and after about 10 minutes of being pretty scared Abe couldn't get enough of the caves. Unfortunately, in the darkness of the caves, the cameras had a really difficult time focusing and we didn't get that many pictures of the marvels that are in there. Thanks Mom and Dad for taking us around New Mexico and for letting us stay. We had a great time! This is the natural entrance to the cave.

What a diva!

I guess I got Mom's beauty and brains, but not her brute strength!

Vacation - Part 5 - Roswell

After leaving White Sands, we went to a little cabin in the mountains of New Mexico to stay the night. It was a fun little place. We then traveled to Roswell, New Mexico. There isn't a lot to see (the aliens don't like to leave evidence) but we did stop to eat at the UFO McDonalds.

Abe thought it was the best that Gordon and Jessica were riding on a motorcycle.

Tyler and my Dad sitting outside our cabin.

Quite the McDonald's, isn't it?

The playground inside was amazing.

Help, they've captured me! ET phone home!
