Uncle Kale visits

Uncle Kale was coming through town for business and was able to spend a day with us. We let the boys go to school late and took them to Golden Corral for breakfast.

Ball Pit Excitement

At the local kid's museum (Marbles) they have a ball pit and above it there is a pig that the kids can fill with balls. At random points it opens up and releases its balls. I caught Rex and Annie as the balls were starting to fall. LOVE the expressions. 

Prairie Ridge Farm

I was able to go to Prairie Ridge Farm with Abraham and his class. What an awesome place to visit and a wonderful field trip.

Easter morning

Growing Doughnuts

Our friends, the Bullock's, brought us some doughnut seeds to plant the night before April's Fools Day. The kids were shocked to discover full grown doughnuts for breakfast the next morning. 

Spring Break

We meet the Boyer's at Pullen Park to celebrate Spring Break one day. We had beautiful weather and a wonderful time.

Grandma Carlile's Birthday

 We had a surprise birthday party to celebrate Grandma Carlile's 70th birthday while they were here. She'd gotten Maddie and Annemarie matching dresses and all the boys matching Captain America shirts. I think she was truly surprised and had a wonderful time.

Grumpy

I went shopping with Ken's mom and the boys one day while Annemarie was napping. When she woke up, she wasn't happy to find just Dad and Grandpa. Ken sent me this picture in a text. Haha. She makes the best grumpy face. 

Mustache Milkshake Monday

The Chick Fil A near us had a promotion during the month of March. If you came wearing a mustache on Monday they gave you a free milkshake. We couldn't resist. The first time we went, Ken's parents were here and went with us. We had SO much fun and went back several more times. 

Fun Run

The boys had a Fun Run at school for a fundraiser.  We went to cheer them on and had a great time. Rex loved running with his brothers.
