Durham Science Museum

While Ken's parents were here, we went to the Durham Science Museum one day. Always a favorite place to visit and it was so fun to have Grandpa and Grandma Carlile with us. 

Abraham's Baptism Day

We were so proud of Abraham for choosing to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was such a wonderful day. We were so lucky to have my Dad and Ken's parents be there to celebrate with us. My sister Tami and her family were able to join us as well. It is a day we will never forget. 

Halloween

Lego Birthday Party

We aren't typically big friend birthday party throwers. In fact, this is the first one we've ever done, but 8 is a very special birthday, so we went for it. We had Lego relay races, Lego Bingo, and Minecraft art. We ate Lego Jigglers and of course a Lego Birthday cake. It was a lot of fun, but I'm happy to wait until someone else turns 8 to do it again. 

Abraham is 8!

It seems like just yesterday that he was born and now my boy is 8. He's such a good boy. He loves school and does very well. He loves Lego's and ninjas and super heroes. He has become quite the reader and we've been enjoying reading the Fablehaven books together. He always tries to choose the right. He's becoming quite the artist, just like his dad. Happy Birthday Abraham!

Halloween Gnomes

Ken found these Halloween gnomes and got them for the boys to paint. They loved it! I can't wait to seal them and put them in the yard next Halloween. 

Talk Like a Pirate

Annie's birthday happens to fall on an awesome holiday, Talk Like a Pirate Day. Krispy Kreme gives you a dozen free donuts if you come dressed like a pirate. We love to go and then drop off 3-4 dozen to friends on our way home. Always a good day when you get to dress up like a pirate for free donuts!
