So, when Mom was here we decided that it would be a good investment to buy clippers. For the cost of 2 haircuts we could buy them and then Mom could show me what to do and then I could try it once solo. That way if I was terrible we weren't out any money and if I proved myself worthy we'd save money. Today was the big day of the first haircut. I must admit, I was pretty proud of myself. I think it went fairly well for a first timer!! The top picture is the before...the bottom picture is the after.

Nice, I used to Cut Toph's hair, now he won't let me anywhere near it....too many bad cuts :)
I am very impressed, Ken is one lucky guy!
Pretty good....I started cutting Bryan's hair when we were first dating, I still only know how to cut hair into one style...luckily that is how Bryan likes it (for proof ask Dad...when Mom had her thumb surgeries, I cut Dad's hair for him....it turned out just like Bryans! Soon you will be cutting Abe's hair too.
Congrats! Ken looks great. I used to cut Peter's hair, but was never very good (although I have done better than some of the professional cuts he has gotten!) Now I only cut bangs and Joseph's hair, although Matthew will be up next. Even if you only cut Abraham's when he gets older, clippers are a good investment!
Good job with the hair cut! Thank goodness I was blessed with a husband who "cuts" his own hair. I would be way to nervous to cut hair. I guess Izzy is going to have to get a beutician...
Looks like you had a good teacher. His hair looks good. I like the hair on the floor shot just to let us know you really cut the hair off. I have cut dad's hair for thirty two years now and no one else can cut it right.
I wish Ken didn't have such dark hair because I couldn't really tell a difference. I am sure it looks really good though.
One time I was cutting Aaron's hair and I slightly nicked the back of his head. He was a little bugged though and said... here... I'll fix it. He then took the razor and slid it up the side of his head. One major problem, however, is that he did not have the guard on. It was so dang funny. Not from that experience alone.... but... he now cuts his own hair. I cut Lizzy and Andrew's though. You did a good job.
