Our Halloween Celebration

On Friday, we had some friends of ours over for a special Halloween dinner. I look forward to Dinner in a Pumpkin all year long! I wish we'd gotten some better pictures of the spread, but our meal consisted of: Dinner in a Pumpkin, Brain Jello with Worms, and Meringue Bones. We made Halloween sugar cookies too. We had so much fun. After dinner the girls showed off their adorable costumes and then we had a karaoke party! We finally got most of our decorations up (the ones Abe won't destroy) and it made us so excited for Halloween!!

Barlow also really really loves dinner in a pumpkin. I think I might be starting to get used to it. We will probably be making ours next week.

You guys really know how to celebrate the holidays!...I wouldn't expect anything less from you, Kimberly Anne!:-)...by the way, you KNOW I know your middle name isn't Anne, right? I totally know it's Marie, but I've called you Kimberly Anne for so long, it just wouldn't sound the same!

Halloween at your house looks like so much fun. I admit I am a little jealous.

Ok, I am wondering how I could have lived 30+ years and never heard of this dinner in a pumpkin! I'll be checking that out. Awesome celebrating Carlile Family!

I was just commenting on Andrea's blog that I never make dinner in a pumpkin. Now I am feeling a little guilty.

Sounded like a gruesome dinner! Very cool!

I loved dinner in a pumpkin. I got the recipe from a homemaking a long time ago. We had had one ever since we are feeding ours to the missionaries.
