SNOW DAY!!

We had a rare snow day here in North Carolina. Yesterday was when it hit, but Abe wasn't feeling well, so we snuggled down with hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls and waited until today to take him out to play.

Abe was pretty excited to be out in the snow (let's face it, he's been sick and couped up and would have been happy to just leave with or without snow) but he didn't really want to touch it. He liked walking around in it and he would tentatively put his hand out to the car or bushes. There was no intentional sitting down, picking it up, or even trying to eat it though. We didn't spend too much time out there, but I was glad that we got a chance to enjoy the snow for awhile (it is supposed to be all melted away by tomorrow night). This is as close to pregnancy belly pictures as you are going to get from me!

Ken was working from home, so he came out to join the fun!

Anyone else see the resemblance??

That is wild!! Only you are wearing jackets in the snow and you would be frozen if you tried it our snow. Anyway, COME BACK FROM THE DARK SIDE Abe!

Okay, so I haven't looked at blogs for awhile. I'm taking advantage of two sleeping babies right now. I just want to say a big fat congratulations for baby boy #2 at the Carlile Houshold!! Hurray! I hope that you are feeling well. Your snow looks very fun. You had more than us, but no matter what, you still have to get out and play in it. Remember measuring the snow fall on our window in Hershey? Aughhhh, those were the days....

I hope that you get over your cold, cause it really stinks when you can't take cold medicine. Enjoy Abe by himself while you can!

It has got to be the age, my youngest hardly touched the snow at all and we had several snow days. He just never got used to it I guess. He did LOVE going out there and just looking!
