Lost

Abraham and I had been shopping at Target (not our regular one) this morning. We headed out to the parking lot and I realized we were lost. I had completely forgotten where we had parked. We wandered around for a few minutes and I said out loud, "Abe, where in the world is Momma's car?". I was surprised when he immediately stuck out his little pointer finger. I followed to where he was pointing and sure enough, he was pointing right to our car! What a smart little guy.

Just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you can take up 2 parking spots!
That really is an awesome story.

Just to clarify...although that is a car that looks just like mine, I pulled the picture from the internet!

Hahaha! That's awesome that you used a stock photo. So funny. And what a talented little boy! I could really use his skills around here. Maybe he could find Barlow's glasses??

Sure, not your photo. You just don't want to be known as a parking hog. J/K.

That is so neat. He is just too smart. Whenever I drive Peter's car to the store, I lose it. It takes a couple minutes just to realize I'm not looking for a big red Suburban!

BTW, I'm glad your pregnant so your sleep talking can continue. Don't let your brain catch fire, though!!

aren't kids amazing! I have lost my car in the parking lot before as well. I just wanted you to know you are not alone.

That is not how everyone parks? Huh. Too funny that he pointed to the car! I tried asking Ashton where my ipod was when it was lost. He said something that sounded like "in your bathroom" I said "in my bathroom??" and he nodded yes. I searched my bathroom up and down but it was not there (that is why I started to worry that it had been flushed!)

Oh, if I only had a nickel for every time I couldn't find my parked car!! I have been better though and usually try to find some kind of a land marker to help me remember.

Thankfully our kids pay attention sometimes when us Mommy's are too distracted to do it ourselves!
Thanks Guys!!

I have one of those panic buttons on my keychain. I have to use it on our car at least once a month.

Kids are so much smarter then we give them credit for. It's so crazy what they understand at such a young age. Abe is of course extra smart, cause, look at his mom! Seeing a picture of your car makes me miss you. Even if it is not really your car.

Hey, did you ever think that maybe the car wasn't there until he pointed, and he was truly casting a summoning charm? Watch for that, if he lifts the "other" finger, he could be casting a curse.

Too bad, you should of asked him to point to a car that was nicer but would unlock with your key and then put a picture of that car on the blog parked in your driveway.
