Vacation - Meeks

We were fortunate that while in Utah we were able to go to Wyoming and spend some time with Ken's family and the Philips family at a scout camp called Meeks. They go every year over Labor Day weekend and we had gone the first year we were married, but missed last year because I was SO pregnant. We were excited to take Abe and let him play with his cousins. Abe started to get a little cabin fever (with only a play pen to roam in he REALLY wanted to crawl again!) but he did really well and actually slept quite well in the pack n' play we brought with us. We had a great time though and I've compiled our pictures into a slideshow.

Sure Ken let them win. Uh-huh. Glad you could go out there this year.

Looks like fun.

Was that really dinner spread down the middle of the table? No dishes?

We had such a great time! That little Abe is one cute kid. Next year he will be running around like crazy you'll probably wish you had a play pen to keep him in! The pictures are great.

Yes Brenda, that really is dinner on the table. They taped garbage bags down and just laid everything out! Shrimp, sausage, potatoes, carrots, corn on the cob...everyone just dug in!

I do love Meeks...it's good you guys still made it out there. Did Ken tell you I am trying to get information to see if it is available another time of year for a King Henry reunion vacation? 2010 is just a little too far away for me!

That was a cute slide show. I have never seen dinner served like that. It looked awesome (and a little gross at the same time)
