Happy Halloween

Every year I say I'm going to start sewing our Halloween costumes early. One of these years I'm going to do it, unfortunately it wasn't this year. We did get them finished though and enjoyed our evening. Although our costumes didn't take a prize (as a member of the bishopric, Ken was a judge) our trunk won 3rd place. Really who can compete with the Scooby gang pulling up i a decked out Mystery Machine? Abraham was determined that he was going to be a knight for Halloween and was satisfied with an Arabian (k)Night (we had the song Arabian Nights from Aladdin blaring at our trunk). He had a sword and people were giving him candy, what more does a 3 year old want? Shout out thanks to Marjorie, Lindsey, and Tami for their help with sewing advice and watching my kids so we could pull it all off! I hope your Halloween was as wonderfully spooky as ours!!

Yes, Ken even made a sword for Tyler.

Abraham has recently been introduced to Scooby Doo and LOVES it! He was totally excited to see the "gang" there and asked me to take his picture with them. The next day "Scooby" was called to be his new nursery leader. He was THRILLED.

What a great idea to have a contest to have the best trunk...I've never heard of that...I may have to "borrow" that idea! You guys looked awesome - as usual!

I loved your costumes! Great job on them, I would have given you first place! And the song "Arabian Nights" is stuck in my head right now...
