Just Chillin' Out

We haven't gone out much the last few months, so my blog has been kind of boring. I apologize to all of you who come here and aren't grandparents and don't care about random pictures of my kids. It's all I got right now. I gave both boys haircuts the other day. Abe is an awesome kid during a haircut. Give him a peppermint to suck on and turn on the TV and he'll sit still and do exactly what you want. Tyler HATES having his haircut. Hate just might be an understatement. It always ends in Ken holding him very tightly while I use the clippers and try my hardest to get everything somewhat even. We buzz it short and then let it grow for 6 months before we torture ourselves again. Something about haircuts always makes me feel like my kids look so old. This is Abraham's first ever picture he's taken by himself. He told me to smile and this is what I gave him. I can never again complain when I ask my kids to smile and they make a funny face at me. Ken and I brought home Mexican wrestling masks for the boys from our cruise last year. They were never very interested in them until about a week ago. Suddenly they are very popular. I'm biased, but I think they are adorable!Abe flexing his muscles. He is very sure this is a Spiderman mask. This is the second picture ever that Abe has taken by himself. Not too bad. He didn't ask Ken to smile at the camera, he was probably worried about what he'd do!

Have you tried cutting his hair when he's asleep? Couldn't hurt. I had squirmers. We usually went with the hold them down method, too.

Those masks are great!

Nice haircuts! Your much better than me, I don't cut Izzy's hair and I take Wes to the barber where he sits perfectly still. I really should learn to do it myself.
