Barbie Food

So, I found this great deal. Harris Teeter had Lunchable Jrs. on sale for $1.09 and I had a $0.50 coupon (which they doubled to $1.00) making them $0.09 a piece. I bought 6, figuring they'd be a good lunch or something. On Saturday, Ken asked what we should eat for lunch and I, triumphantly, pulled out my very cheap Lunchables. Ken opened one, picked up a cracker, looked at me and said, "This is Barbie food. I'm a grown man." I laughed so hard. We did eat them for lunch (it took 2 to fill me up!). Later, I was reading a magazine and came across the advertisement you see below. I guess Ken was right.

My husband often questions our food choices, but when I tell him the price, he happily eats it! But that is classic about the ad, another good laugh~

That is so funny, I can just imagine you "Triumphantly" pulling out the lunchables! You crack me up! It is kind of like Bryan telling me all the cool things he can do with his $0.25 shop vac accessory kit (we don't have a shop vac)

That is too funny. I remember having my mom make "Barbie Pancakes" for me, by just dripping a little drop of batter on the skillet. Ah, good times. I wish those lunchables weren't so expensive because I would love to give them to addie. It would make my lunch time a little easier!

PS, I have some gerber babyfood coupons, but I'm looking for some other ones to combine with them (otherwise it's not really worth it). have you seen any lately?

oh yeah, AND Brenda said you know of a malt-o-meal cereal coupon, can you tell me where to find that one?

Hello? No one but me sees the joke about KEN making a BARBIE comment? Oh the possible comebacks. Like, "Ken eats Barbie's food all the time."

Finding the ad was a stroke of hilarious luck!

What I want to know is if Barbie alas Kim eats Ken food? Now what would that be? Maybe Rita's if he ever got that.

speaking of Ken and Barbie, you and ken should go as that for Halloween this year. (or maybe just ken should go as barbie)

@andrea - I had my mom make those for me too

PS I guess you subconsciously want to be a farmer (or you think you could find a good coupon on seeds!) Still love your pillow talk section!
