This week has been HOT. We've tried to go out in the mornings for a walk or to the park, when it is only 75, so that we can miss the 95 - 100 degree weather in the afternoons. It has made our days seem long (and sweaty). We've had a few fun times though. If anyone has suggestions for passing the day when the sun is too hot for outside, I'd love to hear some! Anyway, here are some random pictures. Abraham loved the dessert that Ken made for a BBQ at our friend's house! We did give him a little taste later on...and he LOVED that!
On the other hand, Abe wasn't so sure about all the attention his little friends were giving him!
He is getting so big. He wants "Big Boy" things all the time. He loves cups and tries valiantly to drink from them.

My two very handsome boys! This is Abe's towel that some good friends sent us for him. We call it his Gandolf towel.

I so agree with you about the hot weather. I have to get out before 8:00 if I want to walk or bike ride, any later and it is not going to happen. Blast that humidity! The only things worth going outside for are playing in the pool and eating popsicles. Sometimes I can handle sitting on the deck in the shade and blowing bubbles for Izzy. For some reason the heat has no effect on her desire to play outside.

I have the perfect solution. Connecticut. Barring that, popsicles and wading pools work well.
I am SO ready for summer, (all week we will have highs in the 70's!) anyway, I like the wadding pools as well, or a small sprinkler toy. Good luck!
Let's see, what did I do last summer while it was too hot to go outside? Oh yeah! I laid on the couch trying to forget I was pregnant. We usually go check the mail everyday, it's just far enough that it takes a minute or two for Addie to walk there, but close enough that we can do it in the extreme heat.
