Victory....Part Two

I know, I know. I'm terrible. After all we went through to get Abe sleeping through the night a month and a half ago, I let it slide. He got sick and was running a high fever for a few days and I just couldn't let him cry in that condition. Then he was cutting 5 top teeth and I just couldn't do it. Next thing I knew I was getting up to nurse once or twice a night again. This week we toughed it out...again. Last night he fell asleep about 9:15 and he is still asleep!!!! It is 8:2o and I haven't heard a peep ALL NIGHT LONG! Hooray! I'm really excited (maybe that's all the sleep I got going to my head) Hopefully it will stick this time.

Oh man.... I have been complaining that Ashton has been super grumpy because he is cutting 3 top teeth, but 5!!!! Holy Cow!! Give him lots of tylenol, that always helps them sleep!

Keep it up. Soon he won't want to get up at all.

It's so hard to be a mom and decide when the crying is worth it and when it's not. I too hope it sticks, and he continues to sleep through the night for you, as there is nothing more wonderful than a full night's sleep, except maybe a month of full night's sleep :)

It is hard to let them cry when they are sick. I'm glad he's back to sleeping though. I loved the book Baby Wise. Both my kids slept through the night at 2-2 1/2 months. It's great.

I am sending all my good-sleeping vibes your way, hopefully that helps. Here we go, ready? Wait for it............. ok, there. Did you get them? That should work.

It seems that is how it always go, as soon as you find a routine that works, something big comes and messs it up. I hope the sleeping sticks, too. Some of my kids teethed a lot at once and when they started losing them, they all came out at once, too.
