So, I've had a basic Kitchen Aid for a long time now, but in the last few months since I've been making all our bread my little guy just wasn't hacking it (and it started smoking every time I used it to knead my dough!). So, I looked through Black Friday ads, found a smoking deal (online even!) and my new 6 qt, 600 watt RED mixer arrived last night. I'm off to bake!!!

I bought one of those this summer for a little more than that sale but I have loved it. They only did white when I did it, red would be cool. Have fun.
This is why I didn't get a kitchen aid either last year. I heard they can't take the bread making. I have an 800 watt Cuisinart. Mine is 5.5 qt, I wish it was a tad bigger so I could do two batches for 4 loaves, so lucky you!!! Happy baking!!!

I had the basic and upgraded to the 6qt...I love it...my mom loves it, too and she is a food chemist, so she is kneading bread every day! Merry christmas and glad to hear all is well with Rex and the boys!
